Behind Every NOBACCO Product: Science, Research and Quality Control
When we talk about a product’s quality, it is not enough to know only what it contains. It is equally important to understand how its raw materials are selected, how its composition is checked and which procedures are followed before it reaches the end consumer.
At NOBACCO, a scientific approach is an integral part of product development and quality control. Through Nobacco Science, research and investment in specialised laboratory equipment, the company places emphasis on the systematic evaluation of raw materials and finished products.
Nobacco Science: The Knowledge Behind Quality
Science and technical expertise play an important role in the vaping products sector. Understanding a product’s composition, evaluating its ingredients and applying organised control procedures are key elements of a responsible production process.
For NOBACCO, this approach is linked to ongoing investment in research and development, as well as collaboration with research centres in Greece and abroad.
The aim is to apply specific standards and procedures that enable product characteristics to be checked and their composition to be documented.
NOBACCO’s Model Laboratory
An important step in this direction was the creation of a specialised analytical laboratory at the Aquarius Project facilities in 2022.
The laboratory was equipped with instruments for analysing e-liquids, including a gas chromatograph, and its scientific work is supported by qualified scientists.
The testing focuses on specific characteristics of e-liquid composition.
Each batch of finished blends is analysed to check the concentration of key ingredients, such as nicotine, propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerine (VG).
This process helps verify that the product’s composition meets its specifications.
According to information provided by the company, additional testing is carried out in collaboration with a certified university laboratory to examine the presence of specific substances in flavouring raw materials, such as diacetyl and acetyl propionyl.
Quality control is not limited to ingredient analysis. It also includes procedures relating to packaged products, the assignment of traceability codes and organised storage.
In this way, the production process includes distinct stages of inspection and record-keeping.
Why Does Quality Control Matter?
Quality is not a general concept. It is linked to specific procedures, measurements and standards that can be assessed.
For e-liquids, checking the composition and recording the results are important elements in documenting each product’s characteristics.
Investment in specialised equipment, scientific expertise and collaboration with research laboratories strengthens the ability to apply organised control procedures at different stages of production.
The Science Behind the Process
Nobacco Science and the Model Laboratory are part of a broader approach that emphasises research, technical expertise and the control of product composition.
Because every product is backed by a complete process: from the selection of raw materials to the analysis and recording of its characteristics.
